The coverage is good but despite it being a narrow nozzle, it is hard to aim without getting color on my skin. When I use it on my part area it's great. But to cover gray near my face, I prefer the wand version.

You know that hairspray you use to color your kid's hair for Halloween? That's exactly what this is, just in more tame colors. It leaves your hair sticky and fake looking, just like the other stuff. The only improvement is that the smell of the Camo Mist isn't terrible. And Heaven forbid you try to camo those little stubborn greys near your face! You end up with overspray that looks like some unfortunate birthmark. It reminds me of that infomercial stuff they used to sell to cover bald spots.

I use the Camo Mist for touch ups between coloring and because the root wand was discontinued in dark blonde. Camo Mist works but I don't like the smell at all or the feeling of spraying propellant on my head. It literally feels like I'm using a small paint can of spray and is heavy on my hair. But like I said it does cover the gray and I don't want to color overall more often so will continue to use it.

Splotchy Coverage

I was going to order another bottle of the Camo Mist thinking I just wasn't applying the spray correctly. Then I read the reviews of others and learned it wasn't just me. My hair is thin so therefore my part and crown are quite obvious. To avoid overspray to my counter, clothes and hands I probably spray too close. But then it leaves huge splotches where I sprayed. I quickly rub it around with my finger to disperse the dark circles, but alas, no success, just messy fingers.
If this is actually read by a person and not an auto-generated reply, may I make a few suggestions? The cost is ridiculously high for the number of sprays one gets, so improve the product, listen to your customers. Perhaps offer a pump spray. Include a clear face shield so one can see where they are spraying while shielding around the hairline and ears. Match the color better to the actual hair dye. Include instructions (and brush) on how to move it around with a brush as some people had suggested (I've never tried this method). Lastly, let people know if these suggestions ever make it to market. Sales will increase!

I really didn't like this product. It made more of a mess than helpful. I guess if your gray was on top of your head it might work. But for me my gray starts next to my ears so it goes everywhere but where I need it. I bought the wand cover but haven't tried although it looks like much easier to apply.

Waste of time and money. Tried to use and the smell is horrible. Doesn't aim well so parts of my hair (roots) were not covered at all and other areas were very wet. When wet the hair was jet black (supposed to be brown) which made the gray stand out horribly. Forced myself to wait but still ended up having to shower to try to get it out of my hair. Now I just look like I have patches of gray and patches of darker hair.

I have used the light brown Camo Mist when my hair was a little darker. I was sent two bottles of the medium/dark blonde in my last shipment and will not be using them. The color does not cover any of my gray hairs which is the whole purpose I use this product.

Hated it!! Concealer sprays aren’t the best anyway, but this one smeared my face at the mere thought of touching my hair. I spent the entire night constantly checking my face and trying to hide my black stained fingernails. And this is all with my hair pulled back and away from my face. I probably wouldn’t bother writing a review except I’m extremely irritated that I received ANOTHER one in my new delivery. I didn’t realize it was still in my plan for the next shipment. I really hope the formula is somehow improved in the near future. It would be nice to have something on hand for when you just don’t have time or opportunity to snuff out the unwelcomed grays.

This stuff is messy and very mattifying. It looks unnatural and will get all over your face and hands VERY easily. It runs if your scalp sweats, so don’t make the mistake of using it in the morning before the gym or even simply a humid day outside.

I really love the cover up coverage this provided. However, the day after I used it, I woke up looking a little like an oompa loompa, orange on my forhead and face. I have long hair and it didn't just stay on my hair, even stained my pillow case. I'm now afraid to put it on if there is any chance of rain.
