I can’t use this conditioner on a regular basis. It smells amazing, but it caused my hair to remain greasy. Once or twice within the month, I was able to use it minimally to restore moisture-along with the shampoo. If I applied too much, my hair was greasy instantly. I was disappointed.

Absolutely hated it. Hair felt and looked greasy and dirty. Hate that it did not lather.

Everywhere my bangs and hair touch my face is a field of blackheads and pimples and scabs and scars because of whatever is in this conditioner. I have been going through hell trying to figure it out for months, and I'm horrified it's this. I used to have completely blemish free skin and this awful product has ruined my face. Do not use if you have sensitive skin or bangs!

This shampoo smells fantastic! Otherwise, I wasn’t impressed. It doesn’t lather well, and I need to pump the bottle 8 times just to get enough shampoo. For $15 dollars it’s such a small bottle. I’d rather stick to Redken.

The first shampoo did not show any 'foaming up' to let me know it was really there. After the initial wash and rinse, I put on another tsp or so of the shampoo and it foamed up slightly. I will continue to use and see if it improves. I shampoo every second day so the hair wasn't that dirty.

The bottle is very small for the price. The plunger doesn't work and I have to open the lid to get it out. There is no fragrance and it is not the same quality as what comes with the hair coloring. I won't buy this again it is very poor quality.

I was out of conditioner when I ordered my color, so I bought some of this. It doesn't work on my hair. First I had to use a ton of it just to get it through my hair, then after letting it sit for a couple minutes, it felt like I hadn't conditioned it at all.

I like it. Seems to condition my hair but I don't think it is anything special. And my color has been fading pretty quickly even though I only was my hair 3-4 times a week using this and the color care shampoo. Not sure if that is a strike against this product or a strike against the esalon hair color. I wouldn't spend the money on it again.

I have given all of these products more than a fair trial run. The first time I said may be I did something
wrong? Next couple of times knowing I have extremely thick hair I kept another brand on stand by, as this Shampoo literally would suds up a little bit, but not turn into a nice deep sudy later like every other shampoo I have ever used or tried.
It simply was not making my hair feel clean.
So I am not saying for you to not try the product, but for extremely thick hair... it does not seem as though this product can handle the job.

I kid you not I used HALF of 1 bottle on my head and it still had not absorbed into my hair! I was truly in shock. Lastly I attempted 1 more time with the leave in conditioner done at the end. That helped, but my hair still. Felt like broken coarse hay in some areas. Sadly this product made my hair worse in some aspects causing me to need professional conditioning treatments etc.
So I am not saying do not try the product, but for extremely thick natural curly hair... it does not seem as though their products are cut out for that.

I think I have a mental hurdle to get over regarding this shampoo. It seems to clean my hair but there is hardly any lather. Consequently I can't feel it working. I'm taking it for granted that it isn't meant lather - am I right? There doesn't seem to be much of a fragrance, which for me is fine. Perhaps I'm just used to using expensive, highly fragranced shampoo that stripped my hair of natural oils and colour quickly.

I've had better shampoos that are made to preserve the color. With this shampoo, it took quiet a lot in order to get enough coverage, plus it left my hair feeling course, not soft or smooth. It didn't soap up well and I had to follow up with another shampoo, essentially shampooing twice to get my hair thoroughly cleaned. I think I paid $15 and that's quiet a bit for my budget, especially for such a small bottle. Sorry, but it's a "no go" from me.

I suppose for many people, added body and texture is beneficial but my hair already has lots of natural wave, with a "C" shape from the temples around the ear and all through the back, so I don't need a lot of extra body from a conditioner. I prefer a lighter volume without any added weight so, even though it does what you say it will do, I can take it or leave it.

As the shampoo, this product isn't worth what is charged for it. The store conditioners give the same result for a much lesser price.

I have very fine hair and as I color it I find it needs a bit more moisture then what this shampoo is providing for my hair type.

Like the smell seems to work well with the color only thing is it doesnt sud well

Our shampoo is paraben and sulfate-free and so it doesn't form suds as well as some other shampoos that include these chemicals. While ingredients like sulfates can cause a satisfying foam, they can also strip the hair of color and moisture. To increase the suds in your shampoo, added water to your hair after the shampoo has been applied and massage through your scalp. We hope this helps you fall back in love with Heart Lock It.

I used it once already and it took at least 10 pumps to get all my hair conditioned and lightly only. Then it was tough to brush through my hair, not sure if I'll buy this again for this price.

The conditioner and shampoo I feel leaves my hair dry and not soft to the touch. It's not bad but seems harsh when using every day. I prefer using my shampoo and conditioner.

I purchased this looking for a color safe shampoo to protect my galaxy hair. The colors washed out much faster than with my previous shampoo. It might be better for more natural hair colors - but it seemed to strip my vivid colors out almost immediately.

I have purchased this shampoo after reading all comments, extremely positives. I am disappointed because I had to wash my hair at least 2 or 3 times for feel it really clean . It's true that it feels nice, but I will finish my bottle too soon if I continue using it like this!
For me, the price quality ratio it's not good.

NO scent, no moisture, no anything. ..I had to use half the bottle for each shampoo...a little dab definitely does NOT do you!!

Ummm. yeah, I don't think so. I have very nice body to my hair, curly bouncy and this stuff was HORRIBLE. It didn't do ANYTHING to soften or shin your hair.
This was the last of ALL 4 out of 4 of your products that I will NEVER buy again.

I love the shampoo/conditioner from the eSalon coloring package! The problem is that I've ordered the individual shampoo/conditioner but cannot open the pump! In order to use the conditioner, I had to remove the unopened pump to use the conditioner. UGH!!

I do love shampoo/conditioner. I had to remove 'pump' to access shampoo to use it. How does one oen the pump?? I've tried turning it 'every which way but loose'!!

It helped me make my hair a little soft after I wash my hair with the shampoo but then I needed to rinse mamy many times to get ride of it.
