Covid holdoverI ordered this color to hide my salt and pepper roots. My appointment coincided with the closure of small businesses due to the pandemic. I was very anxious about the thought of staring at the shelves of color at my local pharmacy. I figured this would be an easier way to choose in the comfort of my own recliner. I haven't colored my own hair for years but decided a bad color would be better than the charcoal ash look I was starting to sport. It was very easy to decide on the color and a stylist made sure my choice was suitable for me. I sent in a picture so she could visualize exactly the look I was after. The product arrived quickly and the instructions and supplies were impeccable. It did get scary when the color turned a really dark purple on my roots but I continued with the plan. Overall, it was easy. It covered my grays and lightened the dark hair that still remains. The after color conditioner made my hair feel great and my hair looks super healthy. Wow!!! I am shocked!!I have gone to high end salons my whole life and because of COVID-19 messed up with a drug store brand. Called e salon filled out survey, spoke to consultants and my hair is beautiful. I probably will never go back to a salon again! rashThis is the second time I have used the color and the results are amazing. Great coverage and color , however this time I did not do any allergy test and i broke out in a horrible weltlike blisters on my neck hair line. This was 48 hours after application. Extremely DisappointedI explained to the colorist that my hair was a washed out brown, it hasn't been dyed in over 6 months and that I wanted to go lighter for summer. I also explained that my hair pulls red. After using the color that I was sent it is exactly the opposite of what I wanted! It is now darker with red undertones. No change in color after request to lightenAfter my 1st time trying the product I contacted the support team requesting a much lighter color, I also uploaded pictures of my hair color as requested. The 2nd color I received was almost the exact same I received the first time. The 2nd formula did cover the gray better 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
