Wow!!!Ok- I had my 12 year old volunteer to do my hair. I’ve never colored it on my own and have only had it colored 4 times in my life. I have stubborn grays on probably 25% of my hair. First of all- the color was perfect- I still can’t believe it’s EXACTLY what I wanted. I was just touching up roots so I was really worried the color would be different at my roots and not blend in. It looks and feels amazing and I have Auburnish hair with golden highlights so it’s not an easy color to find- my regular stylist gets close to what I want but it’s never exactly right. THIS is exactly right so yay for Paul C. - that’s the name listed as the colorist. So I have one more hope and that is that it lasts and my grays don’t pop out. Wow - pretty perect color match!I was so nervous to try this. I have never colored my own hair before. I did a test piece of hair to see if color matched and it did! So then I did all my roots. I had a lot of white hair roots and I have thick hair, so I was worried I would not have enough product but I actually had some left over. I have an undercut long pixie cut, so I think that made it a bit easier to deal with. However the hardest part was sectioning the hair well - my sectioning was not perfect, but the hair color was very forgiving and it came out so much better than I had expected. Good color but a little too darkI used my color at home yesterday and it was fast and easy. I feel like leaving it on for 35 min may have been too long as the color is darker than I expected it to be and darker than I wanted it.
