Great self hair dyeI’ve paid £140 in the hairdressers for a cut n colour and I’ve gone through a period of paying £6.00 for a box dye from the supermarket. eSalon hair dye is better than both of these. Perfect colour; so personalised, professional, convenient and such good valueI signed up in 2020 during Covid because I could not get to a hair dresser. Now every 8/10 weeks the postman delivers my colour set, which coincides with my roots becoming a band of grey. Over the years I have able to communicate with eSalon to adjust the colour, adjust frequency. I can upload photos to the colourist to show what I like or what I would prefer, and adjustments are made for my next set. It is so personalised and so professional. Any tiny issues I have ever had have been dealt with immediately and kindly. The colour is exceptional. The shampoos and conditioners are salon quality. The whole root-touch up process takes about 40 mins. I really can't recommend it enough. Good product, decent service, but not what I expectedI have been struggling to figure out what score to give to this review. Yes the product is great. It left my hair shiny and healthy but the biggest issue is that it made my hair darker and I never wanted my hair to go darker. So now my very long virgin hair has been messed up because either I have to use a colour remover, wait for it to wash out or get highlights The original solutions given by the colorist were not great to be honest and also when I asked a direct question of what type of colour was I supposed to be getting I never got a real reply. It has still not explained to me why my hair ended up being so much darker when theoretically I went for a colour that it’s lighter than my natural hair colour so maybe if you want to darken your hair this is a great product. If you wanna go lighter, I will have my reservations. Something went wrong and I still cannot figure out where it went wrong. Would I try it again? Probably not. Do I regret it? Not really? I only paid £12 but if I had paid a lot more I would definitely have asked for some sort of compensation so I can get my hair professionally fixed but I only paid £12 it’s not worth it. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
