Best hair dye everI have tried so many dyes over the years only resulting in quick fade or incorrect color. Found esalon and I am hooked. It's been a month and my color is still perfect. Exactly what I wantedI stopped buying box color at the store because it doesnt hold in my hair. I dont wash my hair often (every 4-6 days) but it still was fading quickly. Waxy Gross FeelingAfter several experiences with a gross oily/waxy residue all over my hair and having to literally spend all evening washing and rewashing my hair and really scrubbing my scalp I've given up on esalon. I reached out to support several orders ago and was basically told that this can happen sometimes, but I've never had it happen with boxed hair color and it hadn't happened for the first few years of using esalon. I still have one set of esalon hair color at home, but after last night I'll be trashing it, for the first time in years I bought a boxed color and it rinsed out easy and sludge-free. A little too darkThe first set of coloring was fabulous and I loved the color. But the most recent one made everything "darker" - as the same level of color was used for the 2 bottle formulation. So much BREAKAGE!Would not recommend. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because the coverage was good. There was so much breakage I was worried I was going to have to cut it all off. Thank goodness my hair is thicker. My hair was very healthy, I had only highlighted it twice, and wanted to go back to my natural color so I ordered this set. Followed the directions completely. Then when I messaged in to them about it, all they recommended to me was a hair mask! From them, that I would have to purchase! No thanks, save your money, guys.
