Very happyI like that I can change the amounts of the different colors. It also gives my hair dimension and depth having multiple colors. I really have been satisfied with eSalon. The Best One YetEverything in one box is awesome, especially when u have such a demanding schedule like myself. The auto ship is great as well. The reason for the 3 stars is because I was looking for a more burgundy purple color not so dark brown mahogany but I'm sure we can tweak it!! UPDATE: Order received In April is the closest to what I've wanted since I first started. My colorist had my ends bottle PERFECT in what I want, the roots bottle was still had more of an auburn red tint, this time I did my roots with Bottle 1 as instructed as always but actually saturated my hair from roots down to about 3 inches from the ends then I waited about 5 mins then applied Bottle 2 to all my hair except the roots, put my hair in a shower cap for 10 mins followed by putting water in the 2nd bottle as instructed, saturating my entire head then followed it by rinsing it with cold water. When I dried my hair my roots were redder while the rest of my hair was the EXACT color I have been trying to achieve since last summer!! I love eSalon for making it convenient for me to color my own hair without breaking the bank. I appreciate the efforts to adjust the color to give me exactly what I want!! SO if we can figure out how to get the roots to match my ends this will definitely change to 5+ stars 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

June colorLike the adjustment that was made but still searching for my perfect color choice. I love how they work to get the color just right. I made a change that was almost the color I want but will adjust once more to see if I am able to get that perfect color. My problem is I know nothing about color and think I am picking the right color when I make my choice only to wish I had asked for a little bit more change. That is the beauty of eSalon, it’s like going to your personal hairdresser and saying this time could you do this and they make the adjustment you ask for. HighlightsI am happy with the way my color turned out, but now I want a little more contrast than all over blonde. I'm thinking about ordering a contrasting darker shade, and combing it in like I did the light blonde highlighting. I really just wanted the color I FIRST got y'all to make for me ...I REALLY LOVED the color that y'all FIRST make for me (in 2016 or 2017) as this new one was just a little dull and though I liked it OK I LOVED THE FIRST ONE THAT WAS MADE FOR ME. Too Dark & AllergyI purchased the dark brown color & yet it came out pitch black. Then after a day, I started to develop an allergic reaction. I’ve used numerous hair dyes in the past & have never had an allergy to any of them. Unfortunately, I now have itchy red bumps along my hairline and ear, and also some elsewhere on the scalp. I’m not completely sure if this was cause by the dye, the stain guard, or a combination.
