Love this colorI’ve used boxed color from the store and that left my hair damaged. For awhile after that, I was having my hair done in a salon and it looked great but it was definitely breaking the bank. Then I found esalon. I cannot love this color enough. Absolutely AMAZING!I was hesitant in buying an online hair color. I have had such a hard time with my gray hair coming through color in the past. I am two weeks in and NO GRAYS! There has no been a single gray hair yet. The color has held and it looks amazing! I get compliments every place I go. I had to go to the ER and, while there, FIVE people commented on the color and how natural it looked after I told them it wasn't my natural hair color! FormulaI’m sorry this seems to be a very different formula from I started using esalon in 2016. I restarted using it and my hair was stiff and brittle, felt horrible!!!! Color did not do any justice either! I wish I could modify the color myself and see a picture or a preview of what I want. Colour me happy!The custom colour set arrives beautifully packaged. Inside, you have everything you need to colour your hair, including a sachet each of shampoo and conditioner. The colour is perfect - it’s vibrant, luxurious, and if, like me, you have greys it covers them completely. Having coloured my hair with my first box of e-Salon colour, I was unsure about the shade; I emailed one of the colourists and my next box will contain a ‘tweaked’ colour which, I’m sure, will be even better! First timeSo easy to use. Probably easier using it after the tint rinse as hair is towel dry. Went on really well, covered in a uniform colour which I was worried about as naturally dark brown but years of highlights. 100% sure the tint rinse helped give me a uniformed colour. Will definitely not be returning to sitting for hours for highlights. Hit or miss.While I like that you get a colorist who helps you find the best shade for you, sometimes it's a hit or miss. My hair has gotten very light from highlighting and natural Florida sun and I find that sometime my color just comes out to dark, even when just focusing on roots.
